The Big Mac is known world wide. I personally tried it for the first time this year when someone asked for a Big Mac Sauce Recipe. I had zero idea why everyone was so obsessed with this burger, but once I tasted the Big Mac Sauce, I understood. Kinda.

I love burgers and have done tons of research on the best burger. Smashed, grilled, pan fried etc. Nothing tops grilled but smashed is coming in a very close 2nd.

I decided to remake the Big Mac but make it better and bigger. Nothing against the Big Mac, but I need a colossal sized burger. Growing up near an army base, there was a spot my mom would always take us to. They had the largest burgers I’d ever seen! (For a kid). The menu options had names like “Ranger Burger”, Parachute Burger, Motor Pool Burger, Artillary and Tanker Burger. Seriously 4 stars.

So let’s remake the Big Mac, but let's start with the sauce which is the holy grail of this burger.

Ingredients:

Kewpie mayo

fish sauce

sweet dill pickles. (finely chopped)

mushroom powder (pinch)

Gochujang 1/3 tsp

The only ingredients measured were the gochujang, and mushroom powder. Just simply season to taste. You only need a pinch of mushroom powder and a splash of Fish sauce.
